Built from the stem outward.

Atelier Briar is the practice of Mara Vale, a floral artist shaped by years in interiors and set work. The studio treats flowers as part of a room: scale first, then line, color, and movement.

We buy closely, work in small numbers, and compost green waste. Mechanics are reused wherever the installation allows. Nothing is dyed or sprayed to imitate a season it is not.

At the long table

Seasonal composition workshop.

A three-hour morning in the atelier covering stem conditioning, shape, balance, and reusable mechanics. You leave with the vessel and the arrangement you built.

What we are looking at.

Notes from the market, close studies of a single stem, and the rooms that change how we arrange.

The useful moment before full bloom

A dahlia does not need to be fully open to hold the room. Often the tension is the point.

Choosing line before color

Why the silhouette of a branch decides more than a perfect match ever could.

Useful before ordering

Questions, answered plainly.

The silhouette, scale, and palette will stay close. Specific stems change with quality and season, and we make equal-value substitutions when needed.

The concept checkout covers local postcodes within 18 miles of Wrenford. Delivery is calculated from the postcode and shown before the simulated order is completed.

Single orders can be changed up to 48 hours before delivery. Event deposits and workshops follow separate cancellation terms shown in the policy panel.
